My deepest Condolences on the death of His Majesty The King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV
I believe I am the only Jamaican living in Tooro Kingdom, and the people of Tooro have embraced me and lovingly given me the empaako Akiiki. As a daughter of Jamaica, though I hold no official position, I stand in solidarity with… my adopted community. I respectfully extend my condolences to the people of Tooro on behalf of the Jamaican community. Jamaica mourns with the people of Tooro and is saddened by the loss of King Oyo. May His Majesty King Oyo rest in eternal peace.
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." — Revelation 21:4 May the Almighty God grant eternal strength… to the Royal Family and the people of Tooro. May His Royal Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV rest in everlasting glory and perfect peace.
I thank the Lord for King Oyo's life, and his public declaration of the Lordship of Jesus. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and righteousness exalts a nation. And so I pray that God will comfort the king's… mother, family and Tooro and raise up another God fearing king for Tooro, so that the kingdom will take hold of the beautiful inheritance God has for it. Let God the King of kings arise, and let His enemies be scattered in Tooro, in Jesus's mighty name.
Dear The People and Royal Family of Tooro Kingdom, I wish to convey my deepest condolences to the Royal Family and the people of Tooro Kingdom following the passing of His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV. As Benard Ombaka… from Kenya, and a proud Luo by community, I join you in mourning this great loss and in remembering His Majesty with respect and honour. At this difficult time, I humbly appeal to all concerned to remain united, peaceful, and guided by the traditions, laws, and established policies of Tooro Kingdom. Where there is a valid will or documented wishes left by the late King, I respectfully believe that his wishes should be given due consideration and honoured in accordance with the law and the Kingdom’s traditions. May wisdom, unity, and respect guide the Royal Family and the people of Tooro through this challenging period. May His Majesty rest
