Dear Tooro Kingdom, From our hearts to yours. I do not have words large enough for this goodbye. I only have love, and I send it to the people of Tooro and most tenderly to the royal family. You have lost a king. You have also lost a son, a brother, a father, and a leader. Uganda has lost the king of our youth. The world feels quieter without him. May God wrap you in comfort. May He steady your days and soften the nights. May this season of grief also become a season of remembrance of a life beautifully lived, a spirit generously given, and a legacy that will keep walking with you. May the soul of His Majesty Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV rest in heavenly glory. May the king we grew up watching now rest in the peace he so often prayed for. Tooro, we hold you close. We wish you love, gentleness, and strength as you carry forward all that he began with the same quiet courage he showed us. With deepest sympathy and with so much love.
I have read of, listened and watched news on the late king Oyo with pain and have been reminded harshly of the mortality of man. I am however very happy that the young king was a christian. I wish the family he has left behind well. Please be condoled by these words of the scripture “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. I was so much broken when I heard the news of the passing of HRH the Omukama of Tooro. My paternal grand mother was a mutooro who dedicated life to serving people in the medical field which inspired me to take it on. We celebrated almost every Christmas from the kingdom in fortpotal. May His soul be recieved by God.
I did not look at you as a king of Tooro but a king of Uganda. We watched you grow up and we have left us. It was too painful to bear. We wish you would resurrect but God:s plans are not man's. May you rest with the Angels .
It is very sad what has happened to the Kingdom of Tooro for the loss and passing away of King Oyo. May He rest in Enternal Peace. Our prayers are with you all. May the true spirit of the living and loving omniponent God continue to shine a candle of light in your hearts and in your souls so that you may continue to find strength, love, peace, respect, comfort, compassion and humility in the Lord Almighty. May the love and Peace of God that transcends all understanding be with you all in this hour of sadness and grief.

King Oyo was an inspiration to our generation.
