I am truly heartbroken and shocked by the sudden passing of the young king, he's death feels so SURREAL !!! He is the only Omukama I have ever known from my date of birth upto now, may his soul rest in eternal peace. And may God comfort all those who knew and didn't know him but still join in this mass mourning. May God be with all of you

Ihano ligweriire Tooro! Amooti was an amazing man, an inspiration to us who saw him crowned and go through life's challenges to become what he became. His passing not only shocked me but also grieved me, too. Even in this, may mighty Tooro keep growing. Omukama Oyo goes to a place where we will all go. He cannot come back to us, but leaves a legacy we cannot let die. Ogende kurungi Amooti!
His Majesty King Oyo Rukidi IV, was a King destined to take Toro to the Opus (Horizon) where he hasn't reached. His death leaves behind so many WHY's yet the Throne should be sustained based on Law, Custom and Church.

His passing is not only a profound loss to the Kingdom but also to Uganda as a whole and the rest of the world. With profound sadness, the Alganyira Family - Joab and Sheila, convey our deepest condolences to the Babiito Royal Clan, the Tooro Kingdom leadership, and all the Batooro upon the untimely passing of His Majesty Omukama Oyo. His Majesty's 31-year reign, beginning at just three years old in 1995, was a remarkable journey of grace, culture, and dedication to youth, education and unity. His legacy as _Entale ya Tooro_ - The Lion of Tooro - will live on forever. This is indeed an immeasurable loss to the Kingdom and to Uganda as a whole. We pray that the Almighty God comforts Queen Mother Best Kemigisa, the Royal Family, and the entire Kingdom during this difficult time. May His Majesty's soul rest in eternal peace. On behalf The adventist church in tooro region , on my own behalf , we convey our condolence to the royal family, The Babito clan under omujwera omusuuga owe Kamursai , the tooro clans , Her mejstry the king mother, the rukurato rwatooro kingdom, the Amagatwa , the chiefs, The omuhikirwa , the abatoro and batoorokati, all clans and tribes in tooro region for our fallen lion, Atulize, omuguta gugwire, amata gasesekere, enkuba etutire, We extend our comfort to the above mentoned , tooro and uganda citezens . As a church we stand with you in this dark week of mourning . May God heal the wonded and establish peace in tooro kingdom as the clan plans to put a nother king.
