I join the people of the Kingdom of Tooro and the Royal Family in mourning the passing of our beloved King. His Majesty’s leadership, humility, compassion, and commitment to the wellbeing of his people touched many lives and left a lasting mark on our communities. His service to the people of Tooro will remain a cherished part of his legacy. Though we mourn his departure, we are grateful for the life he lived, the lives he touched, and the hope he inspired. Your father was a lovely man. We often played squash together in London back in the 1970's. It was a pleasure to briefly speak to you on the phone while you were in USA. So sad that we never met. I send my sincere condolences , especially to you mother Queen Best. I am just learning what a wonderful achievements King Oyo did as a monarch.
