This conference is a build-up event for the Pearl Anniversary celebrations of Rukirabasaija Omukama’s Empango.
Tooro Annual Youth Conference 2025 is a transformative event that celebrates youth leadership and advocates for youth inclusion and empowerment.
The conference aims to:
- Amplify youth voices in national and regional dialogues on SRHR, employment, and gender justice.
- Strengthen cultural leadership in advancing sexuality education and youth-friendly health services.
- Promote sustainability by embedding youth advocacy and learning into cultural and community structures.
Key discussion themes will include Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Nutrition and Maternal & Child Health, Youth Employment and Skills Development, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Harmful Practices.
Join us for a day of insightful discussions, cultural performances, and the development of a Cultural Declaration on SRHR and Gender Justice.
