Messages of Condolence
I was only 9 years old when King Oyo ascended to the throne, I have always told my self that am the king’s older brother. As a Mutooro hailing from Burasya Bukuuku and Mandaku village I have always cherished and loved the… king. My Father instilled in us the love and service to the King and Kingdom of Tooro. As I write this I now live in Canada, and the death of the King struck as like thunder we the Batooro in Canada, it even pains more when you are miles away and following this online. His Majesty has spent all his time in service for Tooro, it’s only during his demise that we are learning of the kind of work that the King has stood for. His death has united us as Batooro and opened us even more to the world, we are now more inspired than before to lead with our culture as well, I have always Maintained my empaako Atwooki on all my documents to show where I come from. Humuura Amooti Entare ya Tooro.
