CONDOLENCE MESSAGE I, Byaruhanga Nicholus Bnicx Akiiki, Head of Media at Jonard Conglomerate Investments Limited and Head of Programs & Production at Radio Hoima 88.6 FM, together with the departments I lead, extend our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, Tooro Kingdom, and the people of Uganda following the passing of His Majesty Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV Amooti. His passing is a great loss to Tooro and Uganda. May God comfort the Royal Family and all Batooro during this difficult time. May His Majesty Rest in Eternal Peace. Today, I stand before you with a heavy heart as a proud Mutooro mourning the loss of our beloved Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi the IV. This is a day of great sorrow for the Kingdom of Tooro and for all of us who looked to His Majesty as a symbol of our heritage, unity and identity. As i grieve Amooti, i also give thanks for a life dedicated to service, dignity and love for the Kingdom. Though Amooti's earthly journey has come to an end, his legacy will live on in our hearts, in our traditions, and in the future of Tooro. To the Royal Family, the people of Tooro, and all who mourn with us today, I extend my deepest condolences. May the Almighty grant us strength and comfort during this difficult time. I will forever be profoundly grateful for the day His Majesty visited the Tooro Kingdom Youth Centre during the 2022 Empango Coronation celebrations. As a young Information Technology graduate at that time, I had the distinct honour of having him commission my innovation—a live-streaming and audio-on-demand webcast platform. Launched alongside the Minister for Youth, The King's profound encouragement and clear belief in digital transformation inspired me to immediately register and launch my technology company. His Majesty frequently urged the younger generation to blend cultural heritage with innovation and entrepreneurship. Our company's core mission is to actively build upon that very mandate—creating modern workspace opportunities and sustainable tech jobs for fellow young people in the region. Though our leader has gone too soon, his legacy lives on forever through the dreams, companies, and futures he helped us build.Rest in peace, Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.

Omukama Atulize Enkuba etutiire. I have fond memories picking ensene at Karuziika Hill/Palace while studying at Kahungabunyonyi Primary School in 2000, feeling home, knowing that the king in the palace was my agemate who- if protocol allowed- would be excited to come out and pick ensenene with me because he was from my time, my era. All of us kids saw ourselves in him. We saw infinite possibilities because of him. Boojo tusaasire munno, Amooti emitima etwehanikire.
My deepest condolences to the passing of His Majesty the Omukama of Tooro, King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, my king. The news of his passing has deeply saddened my heart seeing as a young girl I watched him play on his enthronement. To see him taken from us has truly devasted me. We, the people of Toro have truly been robbed of this precious gift but would like to strengthen you all with the scripture: John 11:25: Jesus told her, “I am the one who raises the dead and gives them life again. Anyone who believes in me, even though he dies like anyone else, shall live again. May his majesty's soul rest in eternal glory.
