Today, I stand before you with a heavy heart as a proud Mutooro mourning the loss of our beloved Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi the IV. This is a day of great sorrow for the Kingdom of Tooro and for all of us who looked to His Majesty as a symbol of our heritage, unity and identity. As i grieve Amooti, i also give thanks for a life dedicated to service, dignity and love for the Kingdom. Though Amooti's earthly journey has come to an end, his legacy will live on in our hearts, in our traditions, and in the future of Tooro. To the Royal Family, the people of Tooro, and all who mourn with us today, I extend my deepest condolences. May the Almighty grant us strength and comfort during this difficult time.
