It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the passing of His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV. We extend our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the people of Tooro, and the entire nation of Uganda on this immense loss. His Majesty’s reign was marked by a deep commitment to the preservation of Tooro’s rich cultural heritage, the unity and wellbeing of his people, and the advancement of the Kingdom. His leadership, service and devotion leave an enduring legacy that will be remembered for generations. During this time of mourning, we stand in solidarity with the Royal Family and the people of Tooro. May Almighty God grant them strength and comfort, and may His Majesty’s legacy continue to inspire those he served. May His Majesty rest in eternal peace.

Very saddened by your passing, words can't explain how much this amount of pain is unbearable. You have been an example to many youths and a king to the people of Tooro and I will personally remember the short moments I had with you at Acacia mall and Golden Tulip. We are deeply saddened by the passing of His Majesty Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, King of Tooro, at 34. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, Prime Minister Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, and all Batooro and Ugandans. His 31-year reign since 1995 as the world's youngest monarch was a symbol of unity, culture, and hope. May the Almighty comfort you all and may His Majesty's soul rest in eternal peace.
