Your passing has left a profound sadness that is difficult to put into words. There are losses that belong not only to the moment in which they happen, but also to all the moments that were supposed to come afterwards. For me, this is one of those losses.You showed me that a young person can carry responsibility, vision and service at the same time. My prayers and deepest condolences are with Nyina Omukama Best Kemigisa, Princess Komuntale, Omumbeja Elizabeth Bagaya, your family, friends,fellow leaders , the people of Tooro and everyone who loved and honoured His Majesty Rukirabasaija Omukama Amooti Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV. Dear The People and Royal Family of Tooro Kingdom, I wish to convey my deepest condolences to the Royal Family and the people of Tooro Kingdom following the passing of His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV. As Benard Ombaka from Kenya, and a proud Luo by community, I join you in mourning this great loss and in remembering His Majesty with respect and honour. At this difficult time, I humbly appeal to all concerned to remain united, peaceful, and guided by the traditions, laws, and established policies of Tooro Kingdom. Where there is a valid will or documented wishes left by the late King, I respectfully believe that his wishes should be given due consideration and honoured in accordance with the law and the Kingdom’s traditions. May wisdom, unity, and respect guide the Royal Family and the people of Tooro through this challenging period. May His Majesty rest
Your love for God and your service to your maker, your father and the Lord Jesus who you so lavishly and openly loved and honored has preached a message that is so loud even in your transition. The body of Christ is revived in ways you may never comprehend. Hearts burning for God. As you join the cloud of witnesses in heaven, our hearts are in so much pain that we will not get to experience your leadership here on earth but at the same time so comforted knowing that you have gone to be with the Lord Jesus whom you loved so dearly. Rest well Omukama, we will meet again at the marriage supper of the lamb. Our prayers are with your mum, sister and the entire kingdom of Tooro that the Lord will give the people a peace that surpasses human understanding and comfort them in the way only He can.
