Tooro Kingdom Announces Appointment of Owek. Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki as Deputy Prime Minister (Planning and Investment)
On 28th September 2024 Tooro Kingdom announced the appointment of Owek. Calvin Armstrong
Rwomiire Akiiki as Deputy Prime Minister (Planning and Investment) by His Majesty,
Rukirabasaija Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, effective immediately. In
this capacity, Owek. Armstrong will oversee planning and investment initiatives and engage
Tooro Diaspora, key pillars in the Kingdom’s mission to strengthen local and international
relations.
Pre-launch of the Tooro Kingdom website
On 18th May 2024 a team led by Calvin Armstrong met with HRH King Oyo to present the Tooro Kingdom new website.
